Immerse yourself in the creativity of watercolour painting as you recreate a slice of underwater beauty, capturing the gentle grace of the seahorse as it drifts through its vibrant coral-garden habitat. Guided by your tutor, you’ll create an A3 artwork that harmonises colour, texture, and movement. Throughout the experience, you’ll learn essential watercolour methods such as wet-on-wet, lifting, creative mark-making and thoughtful colour mixing using a curated limited palette of marine-themed feature colours, plus two supporting hues  and iridescent medium from the Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolour range.

This workshop is suited to beginners through to experienced watercolour painters. No drawing skills are required, as you’ll receive a template of the artwork lightly outlined onto premium Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton watercolour paper, allowing you to focus fully on painting techniques and colour expression.

Participants will be provided with comprehensive step-by-step instructions from your tutor as well as a full-colour printed copy of the steps.

All materials for this workshop will be supplied but feel free to bring your own favourite brushes and an apron
