In this 5 week oil painting course for adults, you will learn oil painting techniques including how to use the oil painting materials (e.g. brushes and palette knives), surface preparation, tonal under painting, colour mixing, using medium, brush strokes and blending, glazing as well as clean up and drying times. You will then apply these techniques by painting a beautiful arrangement of native flowers from life! We will begin this painting using the “pick-out” method and build up to greater realism and detail in the upper layers using dry brushing and glazing techniques.
